- Continue working on addition and subtraction to 20. Read everyday! Work on learning high frequency words. Write short paragraphs using topic sentence, three detail or supporting sentences, and an ending "wrap up" sentence. Use lots of interesting adjectives. Please remember to look at the daily classwork and check for concept comprehension. Review and practice! Read interesting books to your first grader everyday! Arrange lots of playdates! Have fun!
- We're going the the Kensington Fire Station on a walking trip on March 5th. Please contact Fermina Phillips asap if you want to accompany the kids.
- Work on Let's Go Learn and the Harcourt Math site. The password for the math is Lynda Luckie.
- We'll have a Valentine's Day celebration on Thursday, February 14th. Are there any volunteers to coordinate the party? Thanks.
