The Graduation Ceremony

• is held on Saturday, June 6th,
• in the amphitheatre behind the Youth Hut, which is at the Kensington Community Center, uphill from the Kensington Library on the Arlington.
• The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm, graduates need to arrive at 4:30 (no later than 4:40) to be lined up in alphabetical order.

Amphitheatre seating is limited to 240, and we have 62 students, so we’ve asked families to limit it to parents and siblings only, or a maximum of 4 guests per student. Bring a seat cushion if you are concerned about sitting on the stone amphitheatre steps.

Beverages and Photo Opportunities with Mr. Baum and Mrs. Sanders will take place until 6:30 on the lawn in front of the youth hut. The students will go into the youth hut at 6:30 for their dinner, and the dance will be from 7-10 pm. Chaperones are district-vetted volunteers who will ask for emergency contact information for each student, and will sign out each student from the dance. Students are not allowed out of the building during the dance. We ask that parents pick up students from the dance at 10 so that we can clean up efficiently.
