Room 7 - Farmers' Market

On Tuesday, April 29, our class along with Rooms 4 & 6 went to the El Cerrito Farmers' Market. Parents assisted the students with their purchases from artichokes to snow peas. Many also bought flowers for their families. The students had questions to ask the vendors such as what time they get up to come to the market or what they do with the produce that they don't sell. Finding items for each letter of the alphabet was also a task the students performed well. The day was rounded out with a picnic at Kensington Park. Thanks to everyone who helped!
