Students are generally expected to be ready with their own pencils, pens, paper and things to keep them in.  It is annoying to other students (and the teacher) when certain individuals keep continuously borrowing these items.  Teachers occasionally provide paper and writing implements but independence is encouraged by students having their own supplies and being ready to use them.  Kudos to the people who are always prepared.

I am concerned about children arriving at school in the morning without coats, sweaters or anything to keep them warm. True, it does warm up later in the day, but in the mornings it can be as low as the hi-30's. Please make sure that students maintain their good health by having sufficient protection for cold weather in the morning.
