How Volunteering works

An "On Call" list of volunteers made up from our school community will be accessed to provide immediate help for a family in need. This is a dynamic list that is available only to the Kensington Cares committee members.

When signing up (through committee chair Beth Thomsen, ) to be on the On Call list, please provide:
your name
your child(rens) name/grade
your contact information
your preferred method of providing assistance (child pick up/drop off, meal prep, help around the house, playdates, etc.).

The Kensington Cares committee chair will keep and update this list.

A more scheduled Meal Tree Calendar is maintained and updated by the committee chair. The calendar is available on Yahoo Groups. Access to the Yahoo Group is open to those that sign up through the committee chair (or assigned committee member).

Meal Tree sign ups can be done in the school entry hallway or by emailing Kensington Cares committee contact. Meal sign up reminders are automatically sent through the Yahoo Group.
