A non-profit corporation, the objective is to provide competent and quality sick child care for the entire community. They provide support to enhance growth and the well being of children and their families in response to their needs.

The SCCP has three types of sick child care:
  1. Center-Based - for children two-12 years with mild illness
  2. In-Home Care - a qualified get well worker goes to the parent's home and cares for the child that needs to be at home
  3. Home-Network Care "Contract Children" - for children birth-five years with ongoing or chronic illness
